Somali National Army backed by local people have fully taken over Masajid Ali Gudud village from terrorist group, after days of fighting there, according to the state media.
The elite forces DANAB and Gorgor brigades have stormed the terrorist hideout in the village.
Masajid Ali Gudud village is the strategic place for terrorist militants and also was a financial hub where extortion money which they collected the people by forcefully.
The liberation of Masajid Ali Gudud costed for terrorist more than 100 live including senior officials, reported state media quoted government officials on the ground.
