The newly elected Huddur district commissioner Omar Abdulahi Mohamud has on Wednesday held meetings with youth and women associations and discussed their role in the security strengthening of the town.
Huddur’s youth and women associations are voluntarily working on the security around the clock, keeping in mind that the DC is trying to encourage and express moral support for them.
The provincial capital of Huddur, is one of the towns that alshabab terror group have been imposed blockage almost ten years ago, after resident decided not to deal terrorist any more in retaliation, they were cut off the rest of the country.
The district commissioner has lauded the society’s commitment to security aspects and urged them to increase their efforts and prepare for the war against alshabab which have already begun in some parts of the country.Â
