Somali National Army with local freedom fighters have killed more than 200 Al-Shabaab terrorists, after heavy battle has happened in a rural area in Hiiraan province on Sunday, according to SONNA
Military sources quoted by SONNA said militants were re-grouping at Jicibow area, 25KM away from Bula-burde town to plot a terror attack.
“Their intention was to block the road between Bula-burde and Beledwayne cities. But they made miscalculation, and ended up in fire,” sources added.
After managed the victory, local people delivered food supplies, milk and livestock to Somali National Armed forces, a sign of solidarity.
In the nationwide military campaign, forces and local people liberated more than 40 settlements, killed five hundred Al-Shabaab terrorists, apprehending scores.
