A Somali military court on Monday morning executed three Al-Shabab Kharijites by names; Nor Wayne, Hassan Boy and Keerow were executed by a firing squad in the capital Mogadishu.
Hassan Ali Moallim Barre, convicted for detonating car bomb in Wadajir market, Nov 2018, killing 12 people, Nur Ibrahim Mahad-Alle for delivering IED that killed Mahaas district deputy mayor in 2019; and Isak Keerow Adan, a grenade thrower for killing 2 people in Suuq Ba’ad & Weydow in 2020 in Mogadishu.
The trio were convicted in 2019 for several terrorist explosions that claimed lives of government officials and dozens of civilians.
Armed Forces Court found them guilty of murdering 15 people between 2018 and 2020.
This comes, at the moment the country is in mourning after Saturday twin car bombs have killed more than 100 people and wounded 300 others.
Somali government forces backed by local militia have been waging on attack against militant strongholds in the countryside for weeks, which led terrorist to suffer heavy lost for their militants and swathe land.
