Somali military special forces have conducted operations against the alshabab militants in Aborey village which is roughly 25 km away from Buloburde in Hiran Province, according to the state media.
The operation happened around midnight on Sunday, and killed more 35 alshabab fighters including senior officials.
Officials have confirmed to the SNA mouthpiece Radio that the operation was well-planned and coordinated.
Operations like this have been intensified for the last several weeks as government forces alongside self-organized people have taken up arms against alshabab in many parts of the country.
Just several days ago when Elite force DANAB have raided in Buq Aqable village killing several militants and destroyed the terrorist hind out there.
The terrorist has been suffering heavy losses since the civilian led campaign against the militants which is ongoing in Hiran and Galgadud provinces.
