Up to 31 alshabab militants were killed and many others were also injured after a well planned operation carried out by Somali security was targeted in Obale village in Middle Shabelle province, on Tuesday, according to the state media.
According to the source, the Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency NISA allied with other international partners have been targeted the terrorist outpost, where they have been planning to attack the government forces and its allied fighters.
Two days ago, over five alshabab militants were killed in Obale village by the local people, and government officials said the militants were regrouping in the area in order to reinforce another terrorist militants who have been under attack by the government forces.
