Somali prime Minister H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, has attended today in Mogadishu the ongoing liberation martyrdoms honored event, in particular Elmi Hagar Gure and Hibad Ali Dasar, which was organized by the ministry of interior.
“I order the leadership and the people should stand equally in the fighting against al-Shabaab, everyone must take part by financing, force or moral support in this liberation campaign,” said the primer during his remarks at the ceremony.
He also underlined how it is impossible to justify paying extortion money to al-Shabaab, while the government declared all in war against the militant.
Somali government has been bolding its campaign against alqeada linked group al-Shabaab, which has been holding back the country’s security and development, since 2007, but this time round it seems that tables are going turned around.
