Somalia’s prime minister H.E Hamza Abdi Barre has on Sunday received at his office a delegate from UK based charity Save the children who was led by charity’s East and Southern Africa country director Ian Vale, and discussed how to scale up their lifesaving activities in the country.
During the meeting officials focused on the ongoing humanitarian assistance provided to drought affected people living in the internally displaced camps.
The most vulnerable people affected by this drought are women and children, so saving the children is going to rescue these children from starvation, said in the statement from the office of the premier.
