Somali Prime Minister H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, has on Wednesday ordered all government Director Generals and managers to implement mechanism for the fight against corruption and protect the national properties they are responsible.
He also said that his government to ready to eliminate the corruption and mishandling the government funds and anyone involved the corruption case will pay the price.
In the recent days, president and prime minister have been campaigning to crack down the rampant corruption in the government institutions, and the move many welcomes cautiously, as they better see word change into actions.
The prime minister called the DGs and managers to fulfill the recent government directives toward tackling the corruption and improving the financial management within the government institutions.
