Somali president H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has on Sunday officially cut the ribbon on the newly constructed Galmudug state house in the administration’s capital Dhusamareb.
The inauguration of the Galmudug presidential palace is one of the major achievements the state has made in recent years under the leadership of Ahmed Qorqor.
President Mohamud is on his second tour in Galmudug and Hirshabele states, speaking after the inauguration, he said “This will be a memorable step and it’s the signal of how Galmudug people are struggling to shape their future,”.
On his side, the Galmudug state president Ahmed Kariye Qorqor expresses his gratitude for the president’s visiting in the region and he hopes other projects will follow this.
Galmudug which comprises the Galgadud and Mudug provinces, are considered to be one of most volatile regions in the country, a bitter clan rivalries, division and harsh climate but since formation of this administration it seems they stepped on the right track of development.
