Somalia’s president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has on Saturday commenced in the capital Mogadishu the consultative meeting between Federal Government and Federal Member states leaders, which is focusing drought response, security, economic reforms and other pressing issues.
At the opening of the meeting, prime minister Hamza Abdi Barre and four FMS leaders were attending in physical, while president Said Deni of Puntland was taking part in virtual form.
During the two days meeting the leaders will discuss the country’s priority issues, security and drought relief.
Is a second time that FGS and FMS leaders have a meeting since president Hassan came to power in May this year, but this time round the meeting is much anticipated because, the sides are not good at over a number of issues.
