Somali prime minister H.E Hamza Abdi Barre has on Monday received in Mogadishu the outgoing UN special envoy to Somalia James Swan, during their talks they discussed the ongoing operations against al-Shabaab and drought response activities as well.
The United Nations Secretary General Special Representative to Somalia has updated the prime minister on how UN agencies are operating in the country specially in drought response and reaching out to people living in the newly liberated areas.
The prime minister has thanked the envoy’s role in supporting the people and the government of Somalia during his tenure operating in the country.
