Somali National Army captured Mohamed Jelle Jarasow, a senior member of Alshabab terrorists in an operation near War-Isse village in MiddleShabelle region, on Thursday.
Mohamed Jelle was the head of Alshabab’s money extortion outposts in Jowhar and Rage-elle towns, according to the state media.
In recent weeks, Government forces have stepped up operation against alshabab in Middle Shabelle province to hunting down terrorist leaders in the area.
