Somali National Army foiled a pre-dawn attempt attack by Alshabab terror group in Burdar village in Hiran Province on Friday morning, according to the state media.
Somalia’s defense ministry spokesman General Abdulahi Ali Anod who spoke to the Radio Mogadishu has said that SNA repelled swiftly the militants and killed 12 of them and chased away.
“We have their information and the army gets ready and prepared well for the militants,” said the spokesman.
The spokesman also confirmed that three Somali National Army soldiers were injured during the fireworks in Burdar village.
