Somali National Army and local freedom fighters have on Tuesday morning ambushed Al-Shabab terror group in Halfoley village in Middle Shabelle.
Military sources told SONNA forces neutralised scores of militants, torching army vehicle belonging to terrorists.
Halfoley area is along with the border of Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions where recent weeks took place anti-terror operations.
During the operations, soldiers managed to liberated several settlements, killing and apprehending hundreds of culprits.
