In a special operation carried out by the Somalia National Army have conducted in Janale village in Lower Shabelle province, killing 13 alshabab terror group militants including Mohamed Nur Shire a senior alshabab leader, according to the SONNA.
Mohamed Nur Shire, was the militants’ ringleader in the province and his killing is another major blow for the terrorist.
SNA officials quoted by SONNA said they have also thwarted a plot that the alshabab want to hurt the Janale town resident.
The ongoing offensive operations against Al-Shabab terrorists have seen terrorists lose control over vast swathes of Galmudug, Southwest and Hirshabelle States.
