Somali National Army have conducted operations against alshabab in Bay Province, and taken over several villages including; Bayale, Caliyow Doyow, Hawa Dhaysile, Boorame, Karanoy and Dawudow, according to the state media.
Officials leading the operations said the SNA alongside pro government fighters have done touchable achievements in the fight against alshabab, and militants have suffered huge loss in the recent offensive in Bay Province.
Meanwhile, the Somali National Army and local people have waged similar operations in villages in between Qansahdhere and Bardake districts to root out the terrorists in the area.
