Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency Director Mahad Salad and senior officials from United State intelligence have discussed the cooperation of the ongoing anti Khawarij operation in the country into to get rid of the horn of Africa nation, SomaliaEye reported
NISA director who is in official visit to the United State of America have met officials from FBI and CIA in Washington DC.
Officials of both sides have had deep discussions on how will work closely in the counter terrorist operations in Somalia in particularly, the federal government led offensive against the desperate militants of al Shabab whose era is come to an end.
Reliable source to the venue, said this security cooperation between Somali and US will enhance the momentum of government led anti Khawarij operations which has already swiped large swathes from terrorist hands.
Mahad Salad, is the first NISA director invited by his US counterpart since 1991, this will pave the way the future cooperation between the two countries spy agencies.
