Dodoma (SONNA) – Deputy Minister of Health for federal government, Dr Mohamed Hassan Mohamed, led a Somali delegation attending a high level conference on enhancing Africa’s health held in Tanzania.
Organised by Africa Union’s Center for Control and Prevention Diseases, the theme of this year’s gathering is “Develop Health, Developed Nation”.
Africa-CDC gives technical support for state members on how to respond societal and health risks, using science, data, and policy.
Dr Mohamed says the meeting was fruitful and participants discussed about achievements, challenges on implementing previous plans and finally the level of leadership of the committees at the Ministry level.
