The deputy minister of information H.E Abdirahman Yusuf, whose media briefing ended just moments ago, has said that the government killed more than 100 al-Shabaab militants in a coordinated airstrike that happened overnight in Middle Shabelle province.
Three separate attacked have targeted three location which left death and destruction of the terrorist who were regrouping near in battled village of Masajid Ali Gudud.
“First attacked has targeted garage and place in which leaders of terrorist have been holding a meeting, 21 militants including senior leader of al-Shabaab terror group Abdulahi Ali Arale whom has been known cruelty for the people,” said the deputy minister.
In his media briefing, said the second attack happened around 3:30 pm local time killing 11 alshabab members and wounding 30 others.
Somali National Security Intelligence NISA has been close eye the terrorist movement in carried out third attack in Dolile village about 10km west of Masajid Ali Gudud and killed Musab Abdulle Saney many other militants.
This will be one of the deadliest airstrikes against terrorists in recent weeks as the government forces and local militia have been advancing its campaign on the ground, in particular in Middle Shabelle province.
