The acting president and speaker of the house of the people honorable Sheikh Adan Madobe, who is in Huddur town has on Wednesday ordered the Somali National Army officials to launch the liberation offensive against Al-Shabaab control areas in Bakol province.
Government has clear agenda on liberation of the country from al-Shabaab terror group, the second phase of the ongoing operation will be begun in Bakol province, the speaker said.
The speaker and other government officials inspected today the SNA’s 9th battalion camp in Huddur, where he spoke to the new Somali National Army recruits, those are preparing to take part offensive against the militants.
Most of the Bakol province in South west state, is under al-Shabaab control and, the provincial capital itself is also under blockage for more than 10 years.
