The much-coveted Somalia’s under 17 National Football Team who lifted the trophy Central and East Africa under 17 tournaments have arrived today in the Somali capital Mogadishu receiving a warm welcome by government officials.
Ministers, MPs and other senior officials are at the Adan Abdulle airport to welcome these young boys who made history in Somalia as they qualified for the AFCON tournament in coming April next year.
Hundreds of people are queuing up around the main roads in the capital to show their love and support for their national football team.
