Somali prime minister visits today to Adan Yabal district

The Somali prime minister H.E Hamza Abdi Barre has on Wednesday visited the newly liberated district of Adan Yabal district, just week after government forces and local people freed from the terrorist militants, and it was one of the last and major town of alshabab in Middle Shabelle province.

Hirshabelle president, Ali Gudlawe, Somali chief of defense forces General Odawa and other officials have received the prime minister today in the town.

The prime minister has laid the foundation stone for the construction of Adan yabal airport. The PM promised that the federal government will implement all vital public services projects in the district as soon as possible.

Speaking to Somali National Army and locals in Adan Yabal, the PM said: “I applaud our brave men & women in uniform & local people for standing united to defeat Al-Shabab & I pledge to stand with them in working on a safer Somalia for all.”

He also chaired a meeting with Hirshabelle official and Somali National Army’s top commanders at Villa Adan Yabal, where before three weeks used to be Alshabab terrorists headquarter, a place that they used to mastermind the terrorist attacks and evil activities.
