Somalia’s defense minister H.E Abdulkadir Mohamed Nor who is in his second day official working visit in neighboring Ethiopia, has on Wednesday met the Chief of the General Staff and discussed the number of issues including the defense cooperation between the two countries.
The officials, also have had long discussion on combating the terrorist groups in the horn of Africa and beyond special in Alshabab militant.
During the talks in Addis Ababa the Ethiopia’s Chief of the General Staff Field Marshal General Birhanu Jula has praised the ongoing anti al-Shabaab operations in the country, which forced the militants to flee large part of Somalia for the past weeks.
On his side, the defense minister has expressed his administration’s commitment toward the eradication of this ruthless group.
