In a colorful event marked world tourism day on Monday happened in the Somali capital Mogadishu, which was organized by the ministry of information, culture and tourism of federal republic of Somalia.
In his opening remarks, minister of information H.E Daud Awies Jama has highlighted the importance of reviving the country’s tourism sector as Somalia has many unique tourism sites and attractive landscape.
“Somalia is ready for tourism and it has so many tourist places with plenty white sand beaches and other beautiful landscape”, he said. Adding that his ministry is working to welcome international tourists.
