The newly appointed mayor of Mogadishu Yusuf Hussein Jimale has today received his office officials from the United Nations led by SRSG James along with Adam Abdelmoula head of UNCHA for Somalia.
The officials have discussed a range of issues including the response to the drought affected people who are pouring into the capital and how to deliver the humanitarian assistance they desperately need.
James Swan has congratulated the new mayor and wishes him to succeed in his duty in focusing on infrastructure development, job creation for the youth, tackling the perpetuated security of the city and sanitation.
